Clients retain full copyright and ownership of their manuscripts and written materials. The editor does not claim ownership of client work.

4. Payment Terms

• Invoices are payable in Canadian dollars (CAD).

• Payment deadlines will be specified in writing.

• Late payments may be subject to additional fees if outlined in the project agreement.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Work completed prior to cancellation remains payable. Refunds are not provided for completed services.

• Submit drafts ready for the agreed level of editing

• Respond in a timely manner to communication

Editorial services improve clarity and quality but do not guarantee publication, representation, or specific outcomes.

7. Confidentiality

All client materials are treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent, except as required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for those services.

Lilied Sea Editing is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
